Chapter 22 Hearts Entwined 

I don’t know how long I kept kissing Damon even though he had seemed startled initially he ended up kissing me back. 

Our lips moved in sync and soon our tongues entwined and his hands roamed around my body. 

A soft moan escaped my lips when his hand rested on my left breast. 

Damon pulled away and stared at me, hesitation lining his features. 

Kira, are you sure?” he asked me.

Damon stared at me still and then he smirked, “Are we trauma-bonding?”

His hands trailed down my abdomen to my thighs and I clamped my legs shut immediately. ‘Don’t touch me, I mumbled feebly. 

‘You don’t sound so convincing, love, it’s almost like you’re begging me for my touch,” he whispered. 

His nose was buried in my neck and he trailed soft kisses on the hollows of my neck.

My hands clamped down on the bedsheets as I tried so hard not to make a sound when he found the spot in my neck and sucked on it. 

“Oh, Damon,” the moans escaped my lips before I could stop them. 

My hands immediately found his hair as I buried them inside and pulled, throwing my head back and giving him more access to my neck. 

His hand played with my closed thighs as he rubbed circles on them.

His husky voice sent shivers down my spine as I closed my eyes when he brought his lips close

She exchanged looks between us and then proceeded to read my file. 

Your injury has been treated but a doctor will come to have a look at you soon,” she said. 

Which doctor?” I asked her. 

Doctor Troy is busy with your cousin’s Mom so he assigned you to Doctor Chase,” she answered. 

smirked, “Tell Troy to get his ass here right this minute else I’ll sing like a canary bird.”
