Orielle looked like she wanted to say more, but Auren just waved her off.]] 

“This is nothing compared to what Orielle went through. I’ve got an ambulance waiting outside–what could happen?” 

After that, Orielle shut up real quick. 

With Auren’s orders, those same assholes came back into the freezer with ice blocks 

They grabbed me by the hair and packed ice all around me, then dumped a whole bucket of freezing water over my head.] 

The next second, my skin stuck to the ice like superglue|| 

The cold shot straight through my pores into my bones. I’d been stuck in this freezer for at least five hours. My arms and legs were already turning black and purple || 

I tried to shift around to protect my baby, but every little movement ripped off pieces of skin 

The baby’s kicks were getting weaker. I didn’t give a shit about the pain–I kept moving trying to keep my belly as warm as possible.] 

The clear ice was getting covered in my blood. By the time I found a better position, everything around me was bright red.] 

Even those jerks who’d been laughing before went dead silent when they saw all the blood 

I screamed at Auren through the bloody mess. 

“Auren! If anything happens to my baby, you killed your own son! I’ll curse you every single day until you’re dead!” 

Auren didn’t look so confident anymore. He walked closer, trying to see through the blood–stained glass 

In the dead silence, someone suddenly shouted 

“Auren! My dad says there’s a plane on the Vale family’s private airstrip!“} 

Aurea’s face went white as a sheet. He punched the glass and screamed 

“What the fuck are you trying to pull, Nerissa?! You think you can keep using your family to scare me?] 

Before I could say anything, Orielle rushed over and started rubbing his back 

She looked at me with this hurt, accusatory look. 

“Why are you doing this? You know how much shit he took when your dad was alive. Now that he’s gone and your family’s broke, what’s the point of this act? 

Then she took Auren’s hand and said softly.[]

“Turn that thing down to 1481 Do it now!” 

His guys saw how furious he was and didn’t dare argue. They cranked it down to 148*F || 

This home crushing cold hit me from the vents. I was shaking so hard I couldn’t even get

Through the fog in my head, I felt this sharp, stabbing pain in my stomach. || 

I forced myself to look down and saw bright red blood pouring out of me, steaming in the freezing air 

The hot blood was melting the ice around me, flowing through the cracks. 

That’s when it hit me what was happening. I clutched my belly and screamed.]] 

“Auren! Let me out right now! Oh my gosh!The baby! Please, save my habyr“] 

Auren had been staring at me with pure rage, but when he saw the blood pooling at his feet, he completely freaked out. 

He grabbed the guy next to him and screamed:[] 

“Get the goddamn key! The doctor said this would he fine! How the hell is this happening?!”
