Ch. His Infidelity 2 His Infidelity 2

I didn’t say a word. I simply handed him the divorce papers.

Reed took them with a gentle smile, looking at me with such sickening fake tenderness in his

eyes.

“Willow, what’s this?” he asked again.

He was about to read the document when his phone rang.

He quickly tried to hide it, but I clearly saw the name flashing on his screen. [My Love]

I was standing right there. It didn’t take much to guess who was calling.

If I hadn’t learned the truth, I would’ve grabbed the phone in a jealous rage and demanded an explanation from him then and there.

But now, I just stood calm and collected and gently tugged on his sleeve.

“Sign it before you leave.”

His brows drew together slightly, and the warmth in his eyes was replaced by a look of reproach.

Still, he spoke to me in a coaxing tone.

“Willow, I have something to deal with right now. I’ll sign it when I get back, alright?”

I continued to block his way, unmoving.

In the end, he furrowed his brows so tightly it looked painful. Without even glancing at the document, he signed it in one stroke.

Just before walking out the door, he turned to glance at me and said coldly, “You’ve been really unreasonable lately, Willow. I won’t be coming home tonight.”

I just nodded indifferently and watched him disappear down the hallway.

Soon after, Haven sent me a flood of messages.

That bitch had my number the moment she returned to Montana, sending me photo after photo of her and Reed together.

Them locked in a passionate kiss by the seaside. Chasing each other across sun-drenched hills. Attending events like a picture-perfect couple.

At first, I thought she was just some scammer.

But for reasons I couldn’t explain, I never blocked her.

It wasn’t until the car crash that I realized those photos were real.

On all those countless nights when he wasn’t with me… he had been with her.

With that in mind, I made sure I saved each photo, one by one.

When he reached Haven, he immediately swept her into his arms.

Photo after photo showed him looking at her with the same tenderness that once belonged to

Then, unlike before, Haven sent me actual messages.

312 369%

And when I read them, I froze.

[If I hadn’t left Reed back then, you never would’ve had the chance to get near him. Now that I’m back, do yourself a favor and get lost. Otherwise, I’ll make sure you lose even more!]

[Oh, and did you like the gift I sent you the other day? Your parents’ deaths… and that bastard child. That was my welcome present. If you still refuse to leave, I’ll make sure you die with them next time.]

As I stared at her messages, I could practically hear the arrogance dripping from her voice and picture the smug expression on her face.

And all of this-was power my husband had granted her.

I clutched my phone so tightly I could almost snap it in half, wishing it were their necks in my hands instead.

That night, Reed never came home.
